Why Lucid Jiu Jitsu?
This site is primarily designed for brand new white belts to blue belts. However even more advanced practitioners will find key details that are often missed, which will vastly increase your chances of success. The courses are carefully designed with clarity and cohesion in mind, with some covering a variety of positions and moves, and others covering positions in depth and detail. All courses will be viable, no instagram jiu jitsu here.
About Lucid Jiu Jitsu
Hi, my name is Marcus Beddor. I am a first degree black belt under Ishmael Bentley at
M-Theory Martial Arts in Minneapolis, MN. I wanted to create a place where I could put all my techniques and concepts into one place. I want this website to be a hub to go to for any answers you seek. Sometimes it can be difficult to learn at our own pace in jiu jitsu, and often times techniques and positions are not verbalized very well. My goal is to teach in a way that is approachable and adaptable. Let me help you along your long journey in this vast art!
